APEDS  
 

APEDS is a forum for Asia-Pacific Elders, Deacons, and Spouses to meet and discuss kingdom work. It can be traced back to 2014 when Klesis organised an Eldership Weekend from 31 Oct to 1 Nov 2014 in Perth. Hosted by the Malaga Church of Christ, that weekend brought together around 50 Christians from around Australia and Singapore for a period of sharing, learning, and reflection.

 

The next gathering was in July 2016 and was hosted by the Pasir Panjang Church of Christ (Singapore). The Pasir Panjang Church called the gathering "the APEDS forum". The new name stuck. The 2016 APEDS forum was held in Malacca, Malaysia.

 

This was followed by the 2018 APEDS forum which was hosted in March 2018 by The Point Church in Brisbane.

The next APEDS forum was postponed due to the pandemic. It is now scheduled to be hosted by Belmore Road Church of Christ in Melbourne on 10 -11 Nov 2023.
